The Greenstar Utility 50/70 series is part of the highly regarded range of oil-fired condensing boilers developed and produced by Worcester Bosch. This market leading range prides itself on both its efficient performance and its high quality manufacturing. Worcester Bosch are very dedicated to environmentally-friendly practises whilst ensuring that excellence, durability and robustness come as a standard in all their products. The Greenstar Utility range has an efficiency of over 93% which means that the vast majority of the fuel consumed goes to generating heat energy for the heating system of hot water. This energy-saving performance has earned the range an A rating under the SEDBUK (Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom) guidelines. The series is thus both environmentally-friendly – as fewer emissions are released and less fuel is required – and money-saving – as energy bills can be cut by between 5 and 10%.
The Greenstar Utility oil-fired condensing boilers are able to maintain this high efficiency performance by recycling its exhaust gases and extracting the latent heat within these exhausts. This heat is then reused for further heating ensuring that otherwise lost gases are captured and the minimum possible energy is wasted.
