Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 18/25
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 18/25 is an oil fired condensing boiler designed for installation outdoors but actually has the same 950mm x 640mm x 770mm footprint as other Greenstar Heatslave kitchen models so can minimise disruption when it comes to a new or replacement boiler. The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 18/25 incorporates secondary heat exchanger technology for maximum efficiency and is, in fact, rated "A" for energy efficiency according to SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom"). The heat exchanger cools and extracts latent heat – which would otherwise be wasted – from exhaust gases so as much of the oil consumed by the boiler is converted into useful heat as possible. This means, in turn, that fuel bills and environmental emissions are significantly reduced.
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 18/25 provides between 18kW and 25kW of output power for domestic hot water – at 18 litres (3.95 Imperial gallons) per minute – and central heating. The appliance can be installed on open vent or sealed systems.
