Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 12/18
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 12/18 is an oil fired condensing "combi" boiler designed for use on a small or medium sized property where it is impractical to install a boiler within the walls of the property. The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 12/18 is enclosed in a high quality weatherproof cabinet which is resistant to water, dust, etc. and the boiler unit itself includes integral frost protection.
The appliance is suitable for operation with 28 second burning oil – also known as kerosene or paraffin – only but is, nevertheless, 90.2% energy efficient and rated "A" for energy efficiency by SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency for Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom"). The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave External 12/18 recycles much of the latent heat contained in exhaust or waste gases and so is capable of reducing domestic hot water and central heating bills – typically by up to 10% – and environmental emissions. A thermal store or "heatbank" is pre-heated to the temperature defined by the thermostatic control so hot water is available instantly.
