Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 25/32
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 25/32 is a relatively large (H855mm x W520mm x D600mm 179kg) oil fired condensing boiler designed to stand on the floor. The floor beneath the boiler – typically that of a utility room, garage, etc. – should be capable of supporting approximately 250kg in total but because the hearth temperature never exceeds 100°C a constructional hearth is not required.
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 25/32 is registered with the EST ("Energy Savings Trust") and classified as "Band A" for energy efficiency according to the SEBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") database. The appliance therefore complies with the Part L Building Regulations which stipulate an energy efficiency of at least 86% for new or replacement oil fired boilers.
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 25/32 offers a number of different fluing options; it can be connected to an open flue or an RS ("Room Sealed") balanced flue. In the latter case the maximum flue lengths allowed are 4 metres horizontally and 6 metres vertically.
