Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 18/25
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 18/25 is an oil fired condensing boiler which complies with recent Part L Building Regulations insofar as it is over 90% energy efficient and therefore classified as "Band A" according to SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") ratings. The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 18/25 is suitable as a new or replacement boiler in the garage, utility room or kitchen of a typical one bathroom family house.
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 18/25 is specifically designed for energy efficiency and offers independent control over domestic hot water and central heating via thermostatic and consumer controls. Indeed the appliance can reduce domestic heating bills by up to 10% or more in comparison to modern non-condensing boilers and especially to older boilers.
The boiler unit itself includes an expansion vessel, pressure gauge, pressure release valve, etc., and is also designed for easy installation and servicing. The burner is carefully matched to the boiler so that operation is efficient, clean and quiet.
The key features of the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 18/25 include:
- Operation on 28 second burning kerosene fuel only
- 18kW – 25kW output range to domestic hot water and central heating
- Floor standing with dimensions of 855mm x 520mm x 600mm
- 18 litres (roughly 4 Imperial gallons) per minute flow rate for domestic hot water
- Optional fascia mounted programmer eliminates external wiring
