Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 12/18

The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 12/18 is one of a range of energy efficient oil fired – that is utilising only 28 second burning kerosene – condensing boilers available from Worcester-Bosch. The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 12/18 employs a mild steel primary heat exchanger and a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger which extracts latent heat from the flue gases to convert as much of the fuel consumed into useful heat. This enables the appliance to be 90% energy efficient and therefore in compliance with Part L Building Regulations, which stipulate a SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") rating of at least 86% for new or replacement oil-fired boilers. The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar Heatslave 12/18 can therefore cut domestic hot water and central heating costs by up to 10%.

The appliance "as standard" is suitable for connection to sealed primary water systems, although open vent systems are also a possibility.
