Viessmann Vitoplus 300

The Viessmann Vitoplus 300 is a highly energy efficient, oil fired, condensing boiler capable of running on low sulphur – or, indeed, sulphur reduced – fuel oils with a sulphur content of less than 0.05% or 500ppm. The mixing of conventional, 2000ppm fuel oil with low sulphur oil – at a ratio of 3:1 – is also a possibility. The Viessmann Vitoplus 300 is actually available in two different models – ranging in output from 12.9kW to 19.3kW and 16.1 to 23.5kW respectively – offering flexibility with regard to installation during renovation or new-build projects.

Installation and annual maintenance of the boiler are straightforward; all its components are readily accessible from the front of the unit rather than the side and no special tools are required. Furthermore, the unique, stainless steel coil, heat exchanger – known as "Inox-Radial" – can be relaxed to a diameter of 8mm such that any fuel oil residue can be removed quickly and easily. Indeed, the wide water galleries of the boiler are also less susceptible to the build up of contamination and sludge than some older systems.

The Inox-Radial heat exchanger not only guarantees that the Viessmann Vitoplus 300 is robust and reliable in its operation, but also means that 94% of the fuel oil consumed is converted into useful heat.

Key features and product details of the Viessmann Vitoplus 300 are as follows:
