Eurocal President

The Eurocal President from Turkington Engineering, one of the leading manufacturers of oil fired boilers in the United Kingdom, is available in a range of sizes and output capacities. The smallest boiler in the range, the 50/70, measures 875mm x 590mm x 420mm and weighs in at just over 100kg whilst the largest, the 170/220, measures 1,075mm x 721mm x 539mm and weighs 180kg. Outputs similarly vary from 50,000Btu ("British thermal units") or approximately 15kWH to 220,000Btu or 64kwH.

Each of the Eurocal Presidents is capable of running on 28 or 35-second fuel oil or kerosene which is admitted to the boiler via a standard ¼" BSP connection. The oil burner itself is quiet and reliable and features an independent control system which detects the presence, or absence, of a flame. If the flame is extinguished accidentally the control system attempts to reignite the burner and shuts it down if this is not possible.

• SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") approved and therefore compliant with Parts J and L Building Regulations.
• Maximum Control Thermostat Setting: 85°C
• Minimum Control Thermostat Setting: 50°C (it is not recommended to operate the boiler at temperatures less than 60°C, however, because of the risk of corrosion)
• Maximum Operating Pressure: 3 Bar, or 300,000 Pa
• Electricity Supply: 240V, 50Hz AC
• Telescopic multidirectional flue
• Front access to all serviceable components for ease of installation and maintenance
